My interest in real estate began in 2002 when my husband and I bought our first home in Phoenix, AZ shortly after we were married. It was a fixer-upper built in the 1940’s which we remodeled ourselves. We enjoyed it so much that we purchased a few more investment properties and it was then that I knew real estate was my calling.
In 2004 I had the opportunity to get my real estate license and joined a company that worked with a large real estate investment network out of Southern California. I gained a vast amount of knowledge in the time I was there, helping several new and seasoned investors build their portfolio. It was also then that I realized that purchasing real estate is one of the greatest ways to build wealth, even if it’s your first home!
I took a break from real estate to raise and care for my 3 kids until they were school aged and moved from AZ to Nashville, TN where my husband pursued his Doctorate degree. After he graduated, we decided to settle in Fort Collins, CO which we fell in love with after a visit for a job interview.
My family and I absolutely love Northern Colorado, especially the small-town feel, sense of community, great schools, the support of small and local businesses, and the abundance of outdoor activities and live music venues.
